Job Description

Our client, operating in the agricultural and industrial sector, is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join their team in Rotterdam as an Area Sales Manager with a focus on the commercialization of magnesium products for agricultural, industrial, and environmental applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand business within the assigned region.
  • Monitor the market, including technical developments, competition, potential clients, raw material costs, and regulations.
  • Maintain and cultivate the client portfolio through effective networking.
  • Negotiate commercial contracts to ensure successful supply to customers with optimal results.
  • Oversee the entire order and delivery process to provide exceptional service to customers.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of commercial activities using CRM tools.

Profile Required:

  • Background in one of the below industries:
  1. Chemical
  2. Life Sciences
  3. Construction Materials
  4. Animal Feed
  5. Agribusiness
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales of technical products/solutions in one of the mentioned industries
  • OR Bachelor’s / Master's degree in business and/or engineering with a major in chemistry, natural sciences, mechanical engineering, or similar disciplines
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional proficiency in other European languages is a big plus
  • National and international travel up to 30-40% of working time.
