Job Description

Our client is a supplier of cable ties and accessories, currently expanding operations with a newly established warehouse facility in Utrecht. We're currently looking for a Sales Manager to join team and expand the business in Europe. As the Sales Manager in the Benelux regions, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing the whole sales cycle, ensuring strong relationship with exsiting clients as well as developing new clients. This is an independent contributor role with no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Cultivate and maintain enduring relationships with key clients throughout mainland Europe to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Prospecting: Identify and establish connections with potential clients to expand the customer base

  • Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and services to effectively showcase their value to clients

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to pinpoint new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge

  • Effective Communication: Clearly and convincingly communicate the benefits of our products and services to clients. Provide regular progress updates and performance reports to management and directors

Requirements:

  • Language Abilities: You are fluent in French and English. Dutch will be highly appreciated
  • Hunter mentality: You are comfortable with making cold calls
  • Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in B2B sales with a consistent record of meeting or surpassing sales targets
  • Industry-Specific Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience in the relevant industry such as eelectrical wholesale & distribution, fixings / fastening companies (screws, nuts, bolts etc.), building materials 

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Genuine enthusiasm for understanding and fulfilling customer needs, with a focus on building enduring relationships

  • Self-Motivated: Highly proactive self-starter who can work independently with enthusiasm and motivation

  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute positively to a dynamic and energetic team environment

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, embracing challenges and seeking continuous improvement

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools
