Job Description

Our client, a prominent player in the production and trade of finished meat products, is currently looking to hire a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager. This role is vital for developing and implementing marketing strategies that will enhance brand awareness, promote products, and drive sales. This is a new function for the team in Europe and will manage the overall marketing strategy and activities, with focus on digital and media, while collaborating with designers, product and trade marketers. The successful candidate will have the potential to evolve into the Head of Marketing Europe in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify target markets and audience segments through market research and competitor analysis.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Maintain and enhance the company's brand image, develop brand guidelines, and ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Identify opportunities for brand partnerships and collaborations.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling and engaging content for marketing materials, including website copy, blog posts, social media posts, email newsletters, and advertisements.
  • Manage digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
  • Monitor metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns.
  • Implement lead generation strategies to drive customer acquisition and sales.
  • Develop and nurture leads through targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.
  • Work with product development teams to ensure marketing strategies are in line with product offerings.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in marketing management, with a track record of successful campaigns and results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including CRM systems, Google Analytics, and social media management platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness for 25-50% business travel for events and meetings.

Please note that this is a full-time position based at our client's office in Amstelveen. Hence, we could only consider candidates who are currently residing in the Netherlands, in possession of a valid working permit and open to commuting to the job location.
