Job Description

Our client is a well-estabilished corporate with 100+ years of history and a global presence. We are seeking a Manager - Territory Sales to grow the Institutional business, which offers chemical products and solutions for customers in food service and hospitality industries such as restaurants, hotels, schools, and long-term care facilities. You will manage a team of Territory Managers who provide advanced cleaning and sanitation recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve district budget consistently
  • Hire, train, and lead Territory Managers to meet sales growth objectives
  • Ensure team meets sales and service goals through key performance metrics
  • Emphasize Retain, Grow, and Gain as development tools
  • Hold associates accountable for performance standards
  • Achieve targeted sales, productivity, utilization, and profit goals
  • Grow and retain market share through customer service and sales initiatives
  • Conduct fieldwork with Territory Managers and customers
  • Ensure safety according to standards
  • Support the Dutch division in the Netherlands

Qualifications:

  • HBO, bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a must
  • 5 years of people management experience
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
  • Strong coaching and team development abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems like Salesforce, and SAP
