Our client is a UK-based event organization company that specializes in trade shows and exhibitions. They organize events worldwide across various industries, such as food and beverage, hospitality but also healthcare and art. For their team in the Netherlands, they are currently searching for a German-speaking Event Sales Specialist to support with ensuring a successful event by selling event space and sponsorship to both existing and new partners and customers. In this role, you will be focusing on identifying and getting (new) customers onboard either through telephone or face-to-face communication. You will support the Event Manager with accurate floor plan management, ensuring that the CRM is up to date, as well as attending industry events to identify and approach commercial opportunities and learn more about the sector. Sounds fun, right?

You are the one we are searching for if you:

• Have experience of working in a customer-facing and/or commercial position
• Ideally, have experience of working within events management or hospitality
• Speak German on a business fluent level
• Enjoy networking and meeting and interacting with others
• You do not give up. This role will require a lot of resilience since it usually does not take one call to convince a partner to join
• You have an eye for opportunities and you go for them
