Account Manager
Job Description
Our client is a European leader in multilingual content management, supporting customers in international development and multicultural digital transformation, and they specialize in advising, translating, localizing, and integrating content in over 75 languages. For their team in Amsterdam, they are currently looking for an Account Manager to be responsible for the portfolio of current clients to manage and build the relationship as well as focusing on spotting new opportunities for up-selling and cross selling.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for our client's Dutch customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Develop and expand your portfolio through cross-selling and mapping accounts.
- Generate new opportunities, manage your sales pipeline, and provide innovative, tailor-made solutions.
- Participate in responding to calls for tender.
- Coordinate with various teams to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with a Business Developer to identify and acquire new targets.
- Update the CRM system with new contacts generated.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree within Business Administration or relevant field.
- Previous experience of working in a client-facing and/or commercial position.
- Fluency in English. If you speak Dutch on a fluent level, that is a big plus!
- Enjoys varied tasks, challenges, and working across disciplines.
- Autonomous, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Curious and able to make suggestions.
- Organized, a good communicator, and enjoys a positive work environment.
