Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced leader to oversee a regional logistics team, ensuring timely shipments and managing warehouse partnerships. This role involves optimizing logistics operations, delegating tasks, and driving cost-saving initiatives. The successful candidate will enhance efficiency and contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the regional logistics team.
- Ensure timely supplier deliveries and customer shipments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouse partners.
- Monitor key logistics metrics and provide regular updates.
- Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving measures.
- Mitigate risks and develop contingency plans for disruptions.
- Drive best practices and improve the customer logistics experience.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of logistics management experience.
- Strong understanding of logistics software, data analysis, and Oracle ERP.
- Proven team leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and related PC applications.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
