Job Description
Our client, a global leader in innovative casual footwear for men, women, and children, is looking for an HR Business Partner to support their retail teams across Europe. The company offers a wide range of footwear styles and is known for its unique, comfortable material that has revolutionized casual footwear. This role will focus on aligning HR strategies with business objectives for the retail field, ensuring seamless execution of both strategic and operational HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks. Partner with the legal department as needed.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching, career development, and handling disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to manage employee relations, handling investigations and partnering with other experts when necessary.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for designated support groups, partnering with HR specialists to implement processes related to talent development, rewards, and recruitment.
- Identify training needs within business units and provide executive coaching where required.
- Conduct weekly meetings with business units, offering input on workforce planning, restructuring, and succession planning.
- Analyze HR data trends to develop solutions that improve employee relations, productivity, and retention.
- Coordinate engagement and wellness activities within the retail environment.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in the retail sector.
- Minimum of 3 years working as an HR Business Partner in a European retail environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices across multiple European countries.
- Proven experience as a trusted partner to business leaders, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong ability to manage conflicts and facilitate training or meetings.
- Able to analyze data to provide meaningful recommendations to leadership.
