Our exciting, innovative client is a world leader in their sector. They offer ground-breaking biotech products to customers and clients across the world.

Their European Headquarters is based in the Sloterdijk area of Amsterdam and they have a small, talented international team based there who support other offices throughout Europe.

They have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced HR candidate to join them. Dependent on the level of experience, this could be an operational HR Generalist position or, for someone with 5 years + experience, the function could be as HR Manager.

The role will be an all-round operational HR function with main responsibility for:

• Recruitment and onboarding of new staff. This includes creating job postings and advertising on relevant job boards as well as managing the interview process.

• Salary and offer negotiations for new joiners.

• Making offer letters and employment contracts.

• Assist in all HR and Labor Law issues and keeping the Employee handbook up to date and relevant.

• Improvement of HR policies and procedures working closely with HQ.

• Control of long-term sickness cases.

• Updating the company benefits – Insurances, pensions, car fleet etc.

• And so much more…..

What do you need?

• A minimum of 3 years Dutch based HR experience for a Generalist function OR

• A minimum of 5 years Dutch based HR experience for a Manager function.

• Very good knowledge of Dutch Labor Law as well as some experience with other European Laws too (Ideally).

• Capable of working independently and using your own experience and initiative to offer a great HR service to employees and management.

• Fluent Dutch and English speaker. French and/or Korean would be a great asset.

• Available to work full-time (40 hours), ideally from the office ( 1 day a week from home).

• You need to live in the Amsterdam area as the location is a 15 minute walk from Sloterdijk Station. If you are a car driver, even better. Lots of free parking available in the area.
