Join our client, a global leader in commercial food service equipment, as an Office & Operations Coordinator, and become the heart of their HR & General Affairs team in Amsterdam!

As Office & Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring Amsterdam HQ is a welcoming and efficient workplace for employees and visitors. You will manage daily operational tasks related to General Affairs, supporting various administrative and organizational functions within the HR & GA department.

In this role you will:

  • Managing daily office operations to create a productive, professional environment.
  • Keeping the office well-stocked and organized by managing supplies and resources.
  • Providing a top-tier visitor experience for guests, candidates, and team members.
  • Coordinating office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and lease agreements.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as file organization, office equipment, and leave tracking.
  • Managing company vehicles, including maintenance schedules, fuel cards, and documentation.
  • Supporting new hire onboarding, from preparing workstations to coordinating IT setup.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and local authorities.
  • Acting as a team backup, ensuring seamless operations during absences.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Ability to work with different software systems
  • Professional fluency in English & Dutch (at least B2)
  • Excel skills; proficient with spreadsheets and formulas
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with external parties and internally
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
  • Hands on mentality, proactive attitude and a true team player
