Job Description

Are you available immediately and excited about supporting an international company?

Please note that this is a paternity leave cover for 6-8 weeks. We can consider interim professionals as well.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions & Record-Keeping:

  • Assist with accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoice and payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support general ledger maintenance, ensuring proper transaction coding.

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

  • Assist senior accounting staff with month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports.

Payroll & Banking Support:

  • Assist with payroll coordination and ensure accurate salary payments.
  • Verify employee expense claims and support payment processing for suppliers and staff.
  • Collaborate with banking institutions and external service providers for efficient transaction handling.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with internal departments, including HR, Operations, and Finance.
  • Liaise with global finance teams and third-party accounting service providers.
  • Participate in finance-related projects, reporting, and system implementations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Available for 6-8 weeks starting from the 17th of March
  • Able to work from office at least 4 days a week (Wednesdays are working from home day)
  • Available between 24-40h/w
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential financial information.
